This is why I'm shaped like a pyramid!
Sadly, this doesn't even make sense to me. I used to be able to figure out the four food groups, and even the old pyramid, although I regularly ignored them both. But this tells me that I'm supposed to eat daily:
6 ounces grains
2.5 cups vegetables
1.5 cups fruits
3 cups milk &
5 ounces meat
Seriously, I can't even begin to figure out what three meals made up of this combination would be like. I'm baffled!

Since I know everything, I'll gladly tell you:
BREAKFAST
2 cups Kashi cereal
1 cup of non-fat or 2% milk
1/2 cup bananas or strawberries
LUNCH
1/2 cup of blue berries
1 1/2 cups salad
2 oz. sliced chicken breast
lightly dressed with olive oil/vinegarette dressing
DINNER
3 oz. grilled salmon
1 cup mixed vegetables
1 cup whole grain rice pilaf
SNACK
Big Mac with fries
1/2 gallon of chocolate chip ice cream
1/2 large pepperoni pizza
3 large cinnamon rolls
the other 1/2 of the pepperoni pizza
1 gallon of coke

At first I was concerned that you only had 1 cup of milk instead of 3, but then I happily saw the chocolate chip ice cream to help me build strong bones and teeth.
Whew, what a relief!
I was going to post a "real" snack that would have given you the proper dairy, but I got a little carried away.
